On September 5, 2019, Highway Equipment & Supply Co. will host a Volvo CE/Discovery Gold Rush Excavator event at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA. This public event will take place on Penn College's main campus from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What is the Gold Rush Excavator?
Gold Rush, a popular Discovery TV show, will launch its 10th season in October 2019. To celebrate this milestone, Volvo CE created the Gold Rush Excavator, a special-edition EC200E that is currently on a tour of the United States and Canada.
The EC200E 20-ton excavator features:
Golden customized track pads by Superior Tire and Rubber Corp
Akzo Nobel paint job valued at $5,000-7,000
One-of-a-kind premium leather air-conditioned and heated seat by KAB
Discovery and Gold Rush logos
Embroidered signatures by Gold Rush stars Tony Beets, Parker Schnabel, and Rick Ness

Penn College Tour Stop
“Highway Equipment & Supply Co. has a close relationship with Penn College due to its exceptional heavy construction equipment technician and operator programs," said Highway's HR, marketing, & communications manager. "As a Volvo CE dealership, Highway had the opportunity to secure stops on the Gold Rush Excavator tour. We wanted to share that opportunity by bringing the Gold Rush Excavator to Penn College where we know Gold Rush has a lot of fans."
The Gold Rush Excavator will be located on Penn College’s main campus at 1 College Avenue, Williamsport, PA. Follow directional signage from Penn College’s main entrance on Hagan Way. Due to travel restrictions, the Gold Rush Excavator will need to be loaded onto the trailer prior to 3 p.m.
