Highway’s HR, marketing, & communications manager kicked off the company’s 2020 intern recruiting season at the Pennsylvania College of Technology Part-Time Job Fair on August 27, 2019.
The HR, marketing, & communications manager met with incoming heavy construction equipment technician and diesel technology students for the first time at the event. While there, she discussed summer 2020 internship and current technician assistant opportunities. She also promoted the Gold Rush Excavator tour stop at Penn College coming up on September 5, 2019, including to the two dental hygiene students pictured in the photo.
According to the HR, marketing, & communications manager, “Recruiting at Penn College is critical to Highway maintaining a pipeline of fresh talent for our technician positions and growing as a company. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is meeting these students, building relationships with them, watching them grow and develop at Penn College and through their internships, and then, hopefully, watch them grow professionally with a Highway career.”
Following the Gold Rush event, Highway will be back at Penn College for the Fall Career Fair on October 15, 2019.
Penn College heavy construction equipment technician students who are interested in a summer 2020 internship at one of Highway’s four branches should email their resume and a cover letter stating the branch in which they are interested to the HR, marketing & communications manager.
