Volvo CE and Bobcat Boast Award from Equipment Watch
Per a 2016 market survey, Equipment Watch announced the Volvo L220 and L90 wheel loaders, the SD45 soil compactor, and the Bobcat S600 and T550 series placed first in their respective classes for the Highest Retained Value Award.
The Volvo models had the longest span of useful service compared to competitive models, with the L220 scoring 8.4 years in the market.

Highway Ranked #1 Volvo CE Dealer in U.S. for Road Machinery
Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) recently honored dealers for quality service and outstanding sales. Volvo CE and its North American dealers joined together on January 19, 2016, to celebrate a successful 2015 and a promising year ahead at the company's annual Dealer Awards.
Volvo CE presented awards to its committed dealer network, honoring some of the top performing dealers throughout North America.

A government buying program put a PA recycler in the seat of a Volvo wheel loader quickly and effectively by eliminating the burdensome and costly standard bid process, but without shortchanging features.
What started as a standard landfill in 1978 expanded over the next four decades in step with legislative regulations and a greening social mind set.

Representative Lou Barletta
Visits Highway
Representative Lou Barletta of Pennsylvania's 11th District visited the Harrisburg location at Highway Equipment & Supply Co. in September to speak about highway and transportation funding as well as the current state of a five-year, $305 billion Highway Bill.
Update: The bill, which placed a high priority on the highway transportation infrastructure, was passed by Congress in December 2015. Click here for more information.

Drums and Lock Haven Host Customer Appreciation Event
The Drums and Lock Haven branches of Highway Equipment & Supply Co. hosted their 3rd annual Customer Appreciation Day at Whitetail Preserve in Sugarloaf, Pa. They hold the event to give customers the opportunity to operate new products, interact with the dealership staff, and be thanked for making the business thrive.
